Deputy assistant secretary Erika Olson visits Azerbaijan
Erika Olson, the newly appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, will travel to Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia to promote regional reconciliation and discuss bilateral issues. While in Baku, DAS Olson will meet with representatives of the Azerbaijani government and civil society, as well as Ambassador Litzenberger and Embassy employees. As we approach the 30-year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, we underscore our commitment to strengthening our partnerships and promoting a more secure, stable, and prosperous future for the people of the region.
