The Consular Section will be closed to the public on the last business day of the month as well as on local and U.S. holidays.  If you are a U.S. citizen, and this is not a life or death emergency,  please visit the embassy website for information regarding our services and appointments.  If you have any further questions, please send an email to ConsularBaku@state.gov and you will receive a response within two business days.

Information for American Citizens

American Citizen Services (ACS) provide a variety of emergency and non-emergency services to the U.S. Citizens in Azerbaijan, including Passport ServicesAll services are by appointment only.  In the event of a true life or death emergency, such as an arrest, death, or victim of a crime, U.S. citizens may call +(994 12) 488-3300 and ask to speak to the Consular Section.  All other inquiries related to U.S. citizens and ACS services should be directed to ConsularBaku@state.gov.  All inquiries related to visas should be directed to the call center at  (+994 12) 310 3010 or  visit www.USVisa-info.comDuty personnel are also available for emergency assistance after hours, on weekends, and on holidays.  Call + (994 12) 488-33-00 and ask to speak to a Duty Officer.  To contact the Office of Overseas Citizens Services in the U.S. call 1-888-407-4747 (during business hours) or 202-647-5225/5226 (after hours).

The American Embassy in Baku provides a wide range of services to American citizens in Azerbaijan.  The Consular Section can assist U.S. citizens with matters such as passport renewal and issuance, consular reports of birth abroad (CRBA), registration with the Embassy, notarial services, voter assistance, and emergency services.

We accept U.S. dollars (USD), Azerbaijan Manat (AZN), or credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Novus/Discover, Diners Club) as payment of US Citizen Services.  We cannot accept credit cards for visa services.
